Bow hunting in Texas

It is opening day of the 2016-2017 whitetail Archery season in Texas, 10.1.16. It is a glorious morning 56 degrees, little to no wind from the east and a beautiful sunrise.
  The feeders spin corn at 7:30 am and 5:00 pm. I am in my stand and Morgan is in his stand and no one else showed up.

Morgan shot a nice pig with his new bow and it was his first bow kill during the evening hunt. Congratulations son!

Getting ready

We went and fed out this past Saturday and put out our game cams. We have a total of 7. We had a friend make theft proof boxes for the cams. We only have two feeders out right now so we put the cams on trails. These cams are primos 46, we got them last year, they get great pics and we are very satified with the over all performance of them.
